Have questions?

You’re in the right place.  This page will answer some of the basic questions you might have about our church.

Where are you located?

We are located in Collinsville, right off of Highway 169 and East 136th St North.  We are the big white building to the west of the highway.  We are easy to find and have people who attend our services anywhere from Skiatook to Claremore and Oologah to Tulsa!

What religious group are you a part of?

Collinsville Baptist Tabernacle is not affiliated with, or under the authority of, any denominational organization.  Instead, the Bible is our sole and final authority for all of our decisions regarding belief and practice.  In other words, we are a Baptist church that is independent in our authority and fundamental in our doctrine.

What are you all about?

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”   -Acts 1:8

Since 1955, these words have served as the guiding principle for the ministry of the Baptist Tabernacle. The Bible defines our mission as both local and global. That’s why we continue to invest our lives in efforts to reach the world with the Gospel.

God has blessed our church in the past, and we look forward to what He will do in the future. Our prayer is that the Baptist Tabernacle will continue to be an embassy for the Kingdom of God until He returns.

What times do you meet for services and Bible classes?

We have 4 weekly services.  The first service is Sunday school, which meets at 10:00 a.m. This service has  classes that differ in age, grade, and life stage.  The Sunday morning worship service starts at 11:00 a.m.  We then have a Sunday evening service at 5:30 p.m.  The midweek service is on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. for the kids and 7:00 p.m. for the adults.

What should I expect when I visit?

It can be intimidating being in a new place around new people.  At CBT, we strive to make our guests feel welcomed and encouraged.  When you enter the door, you will be greeted by some of our members, who will be happy to answer any questions you have or point you in the right direction.  If you have little ones, we have a nursery for every service.

What should I wear?

At CBT, you will find people from all walks of life, in our services.  We are not concerned about how you are dressed, rather how we can serve and encourage you.
